Voices

VOICES, WKTV's community history project. Our mission is to preserve and share the stories of people in our community.

Starting late August of 2017, look for the "Voices" Airstream trailer going about the area. VOICES is literally a vehicle for reminding us of our shared humanity and an understanding that everyone has a story. At the same time, "Voices" is creating an archive for your family and for the community. WKTV has modified an Airstream Trailer into a comfortable video recording studio and we are going out into the community to create a way for our neighbors, friends, family, and YOU to tell their stories. Check our calendar to see where you can find the "Voices" airstream trailer and where we are going. You can make a reservation to come to our VOICES mobile studios and tell your story or your family's story. They story you have is important to your family and to us.

Our lives, experiences, joys, sorrows, triumphs and tragedies are what make us all human. WKTV believes that we all benefit from knowing each other's story; the shared bond that helps us build community. Contact Girbe Eefsting or any staff person today to learn more about telling your story in "Voices."
